Unveiling Poolside's first-party partnership with AWS

Reinforced Agents + AWS: A new era of collaborative compute. We are proud to announce a deep, strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to bring our suite of agentic tools to the world's largest cloud provider.

Reinforced on AWS

We are excited to announce that Reinforced's suite of agentic tools will be available directly through the AWS marketplace and integrated with Amazon Bedrock. This means that AWS customers can access our foundation models and agent frameworks with the same ease as using S3 or EC2. It is a native, first-class integration.

Benefits

For the enterprise, this is a game changer. AWS customers can now deploy our agents within their existing Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), ensuring data sovereignty and compliance. There is no need to send sensitive data to an external API; the model comes to the data. This brings the power of our Model Factory to every enterprise developer, backed by the reliability and security of AWS.

Availability

The integration is in private preview starting today, with general availability expected in Q1 2025. We are working closely with the AWS team to optimize our models for Trainium and Inferentia chips, ensuring the best possible price-performance ratio for our joint customers.

Technical Deep Dive: Bedrock Integration

This partnership goes beyond simple hosting. Our models are integrated into the Amazon Bedrock managed service, which provides a unified API for inference. This allows developers to easily swap between Reinforced models and other foundation models, or chain them together using LangChain agents. Furthermore, our proprietary 'context cache' is exposed directly to Bedrock users, allowing for ultra-low latency retrieval across massive documents.

Trainium & Inferentia Optimization

Training and inference costs are the biggest barrier to AI adoption. By compiling our models specifically for AWS Trainium (training) and Inferentia (inference) chips using the Neuron SDK, we have achieved a 40% reduction in cost-per-token compared to standard GPU instances. This efficiency is passed directly to our customers, making high-throughput agentic workflows economically viable at scale.

Security Architecture

Security is paramount. The integration supports AWS PrivateLink, meaning traffic between your applications and our models never traverses the public internet. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using AWS KMS keys that you control. We operate under a 'shared responsibility model' where we secure the model weights, and you secure your data, providing a fortress-like environment for sensitive financial and healthcare workloads.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the partnership about?

Reinforced is making its AI models and agents available directly on AWS, integrated with AWS services like Bedrock.

What is Amazon Bedrock?

It is AWS's managed service for building generative AI applications using foundation models.

Does this mean my data stays in AWS?

Yes. You can run Reinforced models within your own AWS VPC, ensuring your data never leaves your secure environment.

What are Trainium and Inferentia?

They are custom AI chips designed by AWS. We are optimizing our models to run efficiently on them.

Can I use my AWS credits?

Yes, you can use your existing AWS committed spend (EDP) to pay for Reinforced services.

Is it secure?

Yes, it inherits all the security certifications and compliance standards of the AWS cloud (SOC2, HIPAA, etc.).

What is a 'first-party' partnership?

It means deep integration, where our service feels like a native part of the AWS platform, not just a third-party add-on.

When can I use it?

It is in private preview now. You can sign up for the waitlist, with full availability coming in Q1 2025.

Does it work with other AWS services?

Yes, it integrates easily with S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and other core AWS building blocks.

Is it cheaper than using Reinforced directly?

Pricing is competitive, and for large AWS customers, the ability to use committed spend often makes it very attractive.

What models are available?

Our full range of foundation models, including our code-specialized and reasoning-specialized models.

Do you support other clouds?

We are cloud-agnostic, but this specific deep integration is currently unique to AWS.

How do I deploy it?

You can deploy via the AWS console, CLI, or CloudFormation templates.

What is 'data sovereignty'?

The concept that data is subject to the laws of the country where it is stored. Running in your local AWS region helps meet these legal requirements.

Can I fine-tune models on AWS?

Yes, you can use your data in S3 to fine-tune our models securely within Bedrock.

Who provides support?

You get support from both AWS and Reinforced, ensuring any issues are resolved quickly.

Is this exclusive?

We have a preferred partnership with AWS, but we continue to support our direct API customers.

What is a VPC?

Virtual Private Cloud. It's your isolated section of the AWS cloud where you have total control over networking and security.

How does it scale?

It leverages AWS's massive global infrastructure to scale up and down automatically based on demand.

What is the 'Marketplace'?

The AWS Marketplace is an online store where you can find, buy, and deploy software that runs on AWS.
